New posts to come soon!

Hi All,

I didn't intend to take off 2 months from posting  but got busy doing lots of other things this fall.  Had a great time at TWS conference in Cleveland in October, will share some of what happened there when I get back to regular posting.  Also, lots to share still from my trip to Wyoming and other points West.  Did a lot of hunting once I got home, had a great woodcock season with Clementine the cocker spaniel, as well as lots of time deer hunting, eventually taking an adult doe on the last day of our shotgun season, December 8th.  It was also the first deer I've shot on our property in the 15 years we've lived here, so a special event for me.

Lots going on in the wildlife conservation world, too, that I will share some thoughts on.  Now, as soon as Christmas is over I'll be getting back into teaching mode and preparing for classes in January.  For now I added this photo of a forest fire in north central Colorado from September.
This was a forest fire in Colorado that we drove past going to and from Rocky Mt National Park to do a river otter survey with University of Wyoming students in late September.
